i had these great shoes on…and the heel of the right one snapped when i was on my way to work this morning

Friend G: thank god i had left a pair in my desk drawer

they didn’t fit in my bag the other day, so i just left them

but one of the heels is a little messed up

like, that black pad thing in the actual stiletto?

so im in the kitchen of my floor, getting coffee, and trying to bang it back into place

and my office crush walks in

i’m like…really? REALLY?

lol

i was like…my life should be some sort of made for tv special or something

bc it’s certainly special

Friend G: hmm…i do, that is certainly ironic…

and we chatted it up today when my coworker and i were coming back from picking up lunch…it always involves food!

[my crush and i] were talking and my coworker walked back to his desk…and when i got back to mine he just raised his eyebrows…i was like, YES!

dude is prob gay or married, but that’s okay

Friend G: i do…haha…just bc that’s my luck
